About Ty Cool

Tyronne D Hinton is the CEO of Great Soul Radio. Also know as Ty Cool, Tyronne has a musical foundation rooted in R&B, Funk, Soul and Jazz Music. He also is a veteran of more than 10 years in internet radio He would tell you that these genres have always been a huge

part of his upbringing.

 

The idea of getting into internet radio business came three years ago when one of his friends encouraged him to seek a career in the radio broadcasting field based on his knowledge of soul and R&B music. A bold Tyronne walked into what was at the time, Global Scale Radio studio and met with Tim Casey, the station owner. It is there that the Throw Back Lounge was created.

Melvin Jordan II, aka DJ Heavy, The Slow Jam Specialist: Melvin comes to us from Tampa, Florida and his home station Legends Radio Network.His show, The Heavystorm Quiet Storm Show, is simply just what the name says it is: truly heavy. Melvin has been in radio for over a decade, and he continues to bring you the best slow jams from yesterday to now, along with great interviews with artists.

The Heavy Quiet Storm is syndicated on Great Soul Radio and can be heard every Sunday through Thursday from 9pm to 11pm EST.

About Aaron Crewes

Aaron Crews aka AC Jackson, aka Philip Michael Crews, is the Station Manager and On Air Personality at Great Soul Radio.

He is a surefire stand out in his own right. Like CEO Tyronne Hinton, he too came into the doors of the now defunct Global Scale Radio off the suggestion of a friend. With a chance meeting with then station manager Tim Casey, the mighty show Remember When came into fruition.

 Remember When can be described as a wild card show. How is that so? In Aaron's words, "I like it all. There is great music in all genres." With that said, get ready for a trip to a kaleidoscope of music from rock to pop, soul and funk all the way to tv theme songs and novelty jams you didn't know existed.
